KidZania Cuicuilco has opened in Mexico City, the largest in KidZania’s chain of family entertainment centers totalling some 150,000 square feet.
KidZania Cuicuilco features a state-of-the-art security system to ensure a safe and fun experience for children navigating the park with or without their parents. Every child and parent/chaperone entering the park receives matching RFID-bracelets, providing the location of child and parent within a mere meter of the person’s location.
While the children play, parents can relax in the parent’s lounge, which features a spa, movie room, restaurant and Internet (WiFi) cafe.
KidZania, Inc., headquartered in Mexico, is privately held. According to the company, more than 20 million guests have visited KidZania “cities” around the world since the first park opened in 1999, making it the fastest growing global edutainment brand with 10 parks in 7 countries.
KidZania family entertainment centers have more than 90 global partners present in their various venue locations, including Nestle, LAN, Toyota, DHL, Berlitz, Evenflo, Manpower, Cartoon Network, Banco de Mexico and others. The sponsors are offered “experiential branding and marketing” opportunities through integration of their brands with the part of KidZania experiences. The experiential branding also adds authenticity to the career-based, role-playing activities of KidZania.
